My name is April Chu, and I’m a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) candidate at Augsburg University. As part of my final DNP project, I am offering a free online holistic postpartum education course designed to support mothers as they transition into the fourth trimester.
This course, Holistic Postpartum: From Healing to Thriving, is intended to fill a gap in traditional maternal health care by equipping mothers with tools and knowledge to navigate the physical, emotional, and mental changes that follow birth. The course is self-paced, includes optional virtual group support gatherings, and focuses on topics such as recovery, emotional well-being, pelvic health, sleep, nutrition, lactation, and more.
I’m currently seeking pregnant mothers in their 3rd Trimester to participate in the program at no cost as part of my project evaluation. Participants will be asked to complete a short pre- and post-course survey, and all responses will remain confidential.
